Sweet Sambal Prawn

This recipe is ideal for working mums. After a long day at work, a good meal is what you need. a good meal does not mean you have to spend hours in the kitchen. Here is a 15 minutes meal for you to enjoy with the family.






Ingredient A:
300g of prawns, peel off the head. Mix with ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder and ½ teaspoon of salt.
2 cloves of garlic – finely chopped

Ingredient B:
2 tablespoon of homemade chilli paste (refer to Homemade Chilli Paste)
1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
2 tomatoes – cut into quarters
1 onion – cut into quarters


Method:
  • Heat up the oil and saute the chopped garlic and add in the marinated prawns. Once the prawn is cooked (not too long) put it aside.
  • Add on a bit more oil into the same pot. Once oil is hot, add in homemade chilli pasted. Stir it till the chilli paste is cooked. Add in oyster sauce and tomato sauce.
  • Add in the cooked prawns, tomatoes & onion.
  • Mix well with the sauce.




Serving Suggestion:
Serve  with hot white rice.
